I decided to get my first tattoo, September, 12, 2011. The reason why I got an owl is because Dec. 19th, is the first time my mother met her biological mother and that very night I had worn my owl ring. My mom’s biological mom saw it and told me about her mother’s owl collection and how much she also loved them. She ended up giving me her mom’s collection which meat the world to me. She has passed so I wanted to get something symbolizing our love for owls and also the day my mom and her biological mother met. Sooner or later I am going to add the date my mother was born and forced to be given up and the date her and her mother met.
I love me some owls!
